Series: A Night in the Lonesome October (sequence: 1)
Perhaps twice in a hundred years, when The Stars Are Right, a group of Steadfast Allies (2) known as "closers" gather to try to keep closed a Gate for the Great Old Ones. They ascertain the correct location for their ritual battle, a lonely place that once served as a Church Or Cemetery. Throughout the month, during the Waxing Moon, they gather the Spells (2) and Artifacts (2) that they will use in the struggle. One of the "closers" wields an Enchanted Weapon, and their preparations may provoke a Police Investigation. When the Full Moon arrives, the participants light a bonfire and summon any Monsters (2) that they think will help them. Will the "closers" suffer a Catastrophic Failure, or will the earth survive the Dawn Of A New Day.

In light of recent events in the industry it's time for a new Monster, so I present:

While Great WotCthulhu is in play you may charge each other player a one SAN royalty to remain in the game each Round. As long as Great WotCthulhu is in play you may,as your action, look at any other player's hand, Mythos Deck, Discard pile, and Story Deck. If you decide that player is not profiting sufficiently from their cards, you may take all of their cards, paying them US$2.95/13 cards or current market value, whichever is less. Great WotCthulhu can only be buried by a successful invocation of the Summon/Control Patent Lawyer Spell.
